1989 Mustang GT 5.0 // Bought not built

Hey guys, it's that time again. I'm selling the beamer to make room in my 1-car stable for a new stang. I just picked up a beauty; it's a 1989 GT, black and grey two-tone. Approximately 105k on the body and 6k on the motor build. It's got a few small issues to work out, but the driveline is solid and the body is in fantastic shape!

The build was completed by Dasilva Racing in Ontario:

New Medium-Grey leather upholstery
"A few" gauges and meters

It dyno'd at 397whp on 5psi and 453whp on 9psi (only tuned/setup for 5psi at this time)

Welcome back to the stable. Not that you really left. Sounds like it will be fun to get it sorted.
 
Well, well, well, look at this now. You said you were going to get another Mustang but I did not expect it this soon.

Glad for you buddy, now you get to enjoy that famous rumble again. Hope you are going to take this out on the fall run ??

I told ya I would get him out of that very well put together german engineered car and back into a brash North American muscle car, and what a jewel she is very strong and not a rattle in her. Watch out Max there is a new sheriff in town packing a vortec and a little meth to go with it. hehe

BMW was quick, but different kind of quick.
This thing will have a whack of torq.

I'm more concerned about Phil buying a two-tone GT as I was about to do the same with mine haha. When are you coming back to the squeak and rattle world Steve?
 
I'm building a christmas list for Mrs. Smith. Here's what I am thinking of so far:

- Smoked / clear headlights
- Hood struts
- Head unit for car audio

If I'm lucky I might get one thing on my list :)

And I'm building a spring mod list for me. How much I can get done all depends on how business goes through the winter!
- Fiberglass hood
- 03 Cobra wheels (not sure if chrome or machined??)
- Replacement clutch fork, clutch pivot ball, throwout bearing
- Replacement clutch
- New black paint
- Maker's Garage front lip
- Maker's Garage rear bumper
 
That's a nice list Phil. So much for already modded lmao.

I am happy if I get at least 1 car mod for Christmas. That reminds me I need to make a list.....
